Which park would you go to?
Any of London's inner-city parks.
Why?
I like the feeling (and smells) of city-centre parks, greenery surrounded
by tower blocks and cars.
Who would you go with?
No-one, parks are good places to wander on your own.
What would you take to the
park?
- a book (Nearly) anything by
Gabriel García Márquez.
- a CD 13 by Blur.
- a magazine Private Eye.
- a video to watch later Betty
Blue.
- anything else? my portable
computer.
Inside your picnic basket
what would you take
- to eat? Goat's cheese salad, mango crumble for dessert.
- to drink? A bottle of red
wine, lots of good coffee and a small tot of Mascaró (Catalan cognac)
.
Who would you like to meet
in the park?
Friends who live in London.
What would you talk about?
How much better everything was in the old days.
What would you do afterwards?
Go home for a long bath, catch up on my email and tease the cat.
